We are very pleased to welcome Gina Gregory to Gateway Psychiatric. Gina will be working full time in our San Francisco office.
Gina is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) (#73689) who specializes in trauma-related concerns, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders. She uses evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
She earned a Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in community mental health from the University of California, Berkeley.
Most recently, she worked in the Intensive Outpatient Program of Foundations Recovery Network in San Francisco. Before that she worked with transitional youth at the Felton Institute and at San Francisco General Hospital’s highly respected Trauma Recovery Center.
Gina will be working with patients in a number of ways at Gateway: providing substance use counseling and support, assisting with brief case management and support services to patients needing more help to deal with a crisis, and providing cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to appropriate patients in the clinic.
